Despicable me/Moi, moche et méchant (Me; ugly and mean)

Despicable me or in French: Moi, moche et méchant (Me; ugly and mean) by Pierre Coffin (Pierre Coffin, Wikipedia) and Chris Renaud (Chris Renaud, Wikipedia) is a very charming animated film about the mean Gru who isn't throughout mean, not least when meeting three charming children who in a way change him into another person.

Gru (Steve Carell) wants to take over the world and in order to do so he has great plans ahead and the greatest of them all: He's going to steal the moon!
Vector (Jason Segel) is a young mean man who also have ambitions of his own and as he's as mean as Gru but also younger, more ambitious and innovative in many ways, he constitutes a threat towards Gru's ambition for total dominance.
Margo, Edith and Agnes are three orphans trusted in the loving(?) care of Gru.
This is someting Gru does in order to infiltrate Vectors' non pregnable stronghold.

There are references to our own world of course and among them; Lehman Brothers who symbolizes those meaner than mean - meaning meaner than Gru! There are some amusing scenes when he enters their building, asking for a loan for his projects.
This is the animated James Bond the Mean and of course Gru has an inventor working for him in his laboratory, besides all his small collaborators, the minions.
A loveable, imaginative story we highly recommend you to see!

We saw it at Cinéma Lux in La Châtre.
