Au Musée George Sand et de la Vallée Noire il y eu, pendant quelques mois, une exposition avec une réplique du piano de Frédéric Chopin et l'histoire autour de ses séjours à Nohant. 

George Sand faisait venir le Pleyel depuis Paris, pendant la période où Chopin vivait chez elle à Nohant, c'est à dire les étés entre 1839 et 1847.

C'est aussi à Nohant que Chopin a créé quelques-unes parmi ses œuvres les plus célèbres.

At Musée George Sand et de la Vallée Noire (In the town of La Châtre) there has been an exhibition, during some months, displaying a replica of Chopin's piano, and the stories around his stay at Nohant.

George Sand sent for his Pleyel from Paris, during the period when Chopin lived in her house in Nohant, during the summers between 1839 and 1847.

It's also in Nohant he created some of his best known works of music.
