Utnyttja torgen bättre i Stockholm! Use the town squares better in Stockholm!

Under ett antal dagar har Aurore och jag gått förbi torg och öppna platser i Stockholm som skulle kunna utnyttjas till exempelvis julmarknadsplatser eller andra evenemang.

Detta för att göra dem mer attraktiva för stockholmare och besökare.

Ta exempelvis Raoul Wallenbergs torg.

En stor outnyttjad yta som skulle kunna fungera som en utmärkt plats för julmarknad eller andra begivenheter. Sten, betong och inte mycken grönska gör detta torg till en steril plats, ett blåshål.
Monumentet till minne av Wallenberg själv gör inte heller någon glad men det kanske inte är meningen?

Glädje skall vi inte ha för mycket av i vår stad?!

Ej heller på Riddarholmen har man anordnat någon marknad till jul, likadant förhåller det sig med Östermalmstorg som är ett stort outnyttjat torg som skulle kunna göras trevligare.

Vi kan inte kräva för mycket dock! Vi är ju i Stockholm!

English:

During a couple of days Aurore and I have passed squares and open places in Stockholm that could be used to market places during Christmas or other events.
This in order to make them more attractive for the citizens of Stockholm and visitors from abroad.

Look for example at Raoul Wallenberg square, a big unexploited public place that perfectly well could serve as a center for a Christmas market (during this time of year) or something else.
Now there is only a strongly debated monument standing there and besides that there is just stone, concrete and no 'verdure' which makes it a very sterile place.

If we look at Riddarholmen we find a big and seldom used square around the famous church where so many of our kings are burried. No Christmas market there neither.

Östermalmstorg is also a square that could be used better and also made in to a more welcoming place. It is situated two hundred meters behind the Royal Dramatic Theater.

I demand a change! Make Stockholm a more extravagant town. That is perhaps to ask to much?
