Äntligen en dag med vackert väder. När jag skriver detta är vi flera dagar fram i tiden (20/4) och natten mellan 19-20/4 hade vi regnblandad snö och likaså på morgonen 20/4. Blåsigt och kyligt.
Denna dag var det dock vackert väder och Aurore och jag begav oss ut till Djurgården och Rosendals slott för att se en utställning med foton av Ammi Schilling.
Schilling fotograferar blommor och andra växter men på mycket nära avstånd vilket skapar egna mönster där man inte omedelbart ser blomman eller växten. Vissa av dem påminde nästan lite om batikmönster.
Efter att ha sett denna förhållandevis lilla utställning tog vi fram vårt medhavda kaffe och dopp. Satte oss i en berså vid ett bord där vi njöt av solskenet.
Nu ställde vi kosan (inte kossan) till Arkitekturmuseet för att se en utställning med vad man kallar 'Italienska designikoner'. Det rör sig om sådana namn som
Alessi,
Flos,
Kartell och
Piaggio bl.a.

En liten men ändå intressant utställning. Vi retade oss dock på att besökare i vanlig ordning (är man benägen skriva) skall 'kladda' på alla utställda föremål. Någon form av fetischism?
I samma byggnad rörde vi oss nu till Moderna museet för att se färdigt filmerna om och med Robert Rauschenberg.
Han är riktigt intressant att lyssna till. Dels för att han ganska klart och redigt kan redogöra för sin konst dels för att han har ett stort mått av humor. Detta till skillnad från sin pop-art kollega Andy Warhol.
Serieteket blir sista anhalten idag. Utställning med bl.a. de tecknade hjältarna 'Black & Mortimer', som vi de facto sett redan sett i ett flertal utställningar och filmer i samband med tidigare evenemang på Franska institutet.

At last a day with beautiful weather. When I write this many days have passed since the events I am going to write about and the night between 19-20/4 we had rain mixed with snow, windy and cold.
This day is however warm and sunny and Aurore and I set out for the park 'Djurgården' ('Tiergarden') and the castle Rosendal where we looked at an exhibition with photos by Ammi Schilling.
She has photographed flowers and plants in a very close distance, making the contours almost dissolve and in a way thereby creating her own patterns where one not immediately is able to see the flower or plant.
After this comparatively small exhibition we grab in on our pique nique-'basket' with coffee, buns and cakes, enjoying the sunshine sitting in an arbour.
After this we went to the Swedish Museum of Architecture for an exhibition (also quite small) with what one have named 'Italian design icons'.
We saw works by
Alessi,
Flos,
Kartell and
Piaggio among others.
We got to see samples of coffee pots, armature, scooters (see photos above) and other items. As I said a small but rather interesting exhibition 'quand même'.
As usual (one are inclined to write) there are unfortunately visitors who want to touch everything in order to 'understand'(?) the exhibition better? Some kind of fetishism?
Through the same building we now moved on to the Museum of Modern Art to watch the rest of the movies with and about Robert Rauschenberg.
It is interesting to listen to him when he talks about his art. Partly because he is humorous partly because he is able to clarify and give an account for what his art is all about. This as opposed to his pop-art 'colleague' Andy Warhol.
'Serieteket' at the Cultural Center is our last stop today. We there take a look at an exhibition with the animated 'heroes' 'Black & Mortimer', although we have seen most of the exhibited albums and other items at the French Institute some time ago.
