Långfredagen är verkligen lång.
Vi fann inget intressant att göra idag då det känns som om alla eventuellt intressanta evenemang inte är tillgängliga för att de är stängda.
Vi tog oss (Aurore och jag) till 'S:t Jakobs kyrka' vid Kungsträdgården för en långredagsgudstjänst med prästen Maria Bergson Bjerle, S:t Jakobs vokalensemble under ledning av Gary Graden och vid orgeln Michael Waldenby.
Framför allt medverkade Virpi Pahkinen.
Jag säger 'framför allt' eftersom jag under lång tid velat se henne men av skilda skäl har inte tillfälle givits trots att hon dansat ett flertal gånger vid Dansens Hus och i andra sammanhang. Har fått för mig att jag gillar hennes kroppspråk och koreografi.
Det gjorde jag också och så även Aurore.
Hon framförde ett danssolo byggt på Jesu korsfästelse och de olika 'stationerna' som föregår detta på hans Via Dolorosa.
Inte alla av dessa 'stationer' var representerade men ett antal.
Pahkinen dansade till improviserad körsång av vokalensemblen och det hela var mycket suggesstivt och intressant.
En kongenial sammansmältning av musik och dans och jag känner att jag vill se mer av Pahkinen vid tillfälle.
Härefter och innan detta vandrade vi omkring på stan och senare hem för middag.

Good Friday is in Swedish called 'Long Friday' and it is really a long day or at least it feels that way.
We didn't find anything interesting to occupy ourselves with today as it seams like every interesting event is not available today, because it is closed for the public.
We finally decided to visit S:t Jakob's church near Kungsträdgården ('Kings Garden') for a Good Friday service with the priest Maria Bergson Bjerle, the vocal ensemble of S:t Jakobs church under the leadership of Gary Graden and at the organ Michael Waldenby.
Above all the dancer Virpi Pahkinen participated.
I say 'above all' as I for a long time have wished to see her dance but from different reasons this has never happened.
This though she at a number of occasions have danced at 'The House of Dance' in Stockholm.
I have got the impression that I would like her 'body language' and so I did. So did Aurore.
She performed (Virpi Pahkinen not Aurore) a piece built around the crucifixion of Jesus and the different 'stations' he passed on his way towards the cross at Via Dolorosa.
This she performed together with improvised choir music performed by the vocal ensemble.
It was very suggestive and interesting.
A congenial blend of music and dance and I really want to see more of Pahkinen.
