Det var många år sedan jag (Gunnar) senast besökte denna kyrka.
Då jag gick på gymnasiet jagade mig kyrkomusikern/körledaren i denna kyrka då han, via bland annat min sånglärarinna, fått höra att jag hade en bra röst och därför ville han ha med mig i kören.
Jag ville på den tiden inte sjunga i kör men han gav sig inte, utan hördes av vid jämna mellanrum.
Det blev, trots dessa ihärdiga försök från hans sida, aldrig körsångsmedverkan i St Matteus.
Aurore och jag beger oss därefter ut på en liten 'tågluff' till Saltsjöbaden och hotellet där.
Vi tar inte in på hotellet men vi njuter av utsikten och konstaterar att Aurore har varit här tidigare då hon ville se var Ingmar Bergmans' film 'Sommarlek' spelades in.
Ni kanske inte visste att det var här detta skedde?

It is long since I last visited this church.
I remember when I was a student in upper secondary school, the church musician and choir leader in this church wanted me to sing in his choir but I said no because I wanted to concentrate on solo singing in those days.
He kept on trying for years but he did not succeed in convincing me.
After this we went for a 'train ride' to Saltsjöbaden a stylish suburb or satellite town outside Stockholm with a famous hotel among other things.
Aurore has been hear before when she wanted to take a look at the spot where Ingmar Bergman's 'Summer Interlude' ('Illicit Interlude') where shot.
Maybe you were unaware of the fact that it was here, in this hotel?
