Aurore parle du cinéma scandinave à la Radio Pays de Guéret/ Aurore talks about Scandinavian film in Radio Pays de Guéret with Gérard Prugnaud

L'année dernière, 2012 j'ai (Gunnar) 'rencontré' un homme par le nom Gérard Prugnaud, grâce à Facebook.
Nous avons participé dans les mêmes groupes, discutant film et un jour il m'a dit qu'il était en train à préparer une exposition sur le cinéma ou plutôt mémorabilité, comme des affiches, des anciens appareils photo, magazines de cinéma etc.
Je lui ai demandé où on a pu trouver cette exposition et il m'a répondu "La Berthenoux et la médiathèque dans cette ville" (vous pouvez trouver un article dans notre blog sur cette exposition).
J'ai raconté que j'habite seulement 12 km de La Berthenoux et il m'a dit qu'il habit dans la ville de Guéret, dans le département Creuse (54 km de nous).
Après on s'est rencontré et sont devenu des amis dans 'la vie réelle', il est venu visiter 'mon musée' - Le Musée des Racines - et il m'a raconté qu'il travaille comme bénévole pour une station de radio qui s'appelle Radio Pays de Guéret, responsable pour les émissions sur le cinéma.
Il savait aussi maintenant - grâce à moi et le fait qu'il avait rencontré Aurore - qu'elle est une spécialiste du cinéma scandinave.
Il a demandé à Aurore si elle pourrait s'imaginait de participer à la radio et parler de son sujet et Aurore a accepté.
Et ce jour-là à 8 heure le matin nous avons participé (j'étais invité de parler un peu sur le cinéma suédois, mes expériences et intérêts du cinéma et des comparaisons entre la Suède et la Norvège p.e.) dans cette émission, avec Gérard comme le responsable principal et un jeune technicien comme 'la main droit' de Gérard.
Gérard et un homme sympa et intelligent, ayant travaillé comme professeur en allemand au lycée mais il peut aussi parler anglais et un peu le suédois, il le comprends en tout cas.
Il a un intérêt pour le cinéma très profond et il connais le sujet.
Il avait préparé quelques questions sur un peu tout et Aurore a aussi parlé de son livre sur l'histoire du cinéma norvégien (écrit en français) qu'elle est en train d'écrire, avec la publication cette hiver, elle espère.
Il n'y a pas des œuvres compréhensives sur le cinéma norvégien en France et en français.

Après un heure et plusieurs questions et réponses nous avons terminé mais pendant l'émission le directeur des cinémas de Guéret est venu pour parler avec Aurore concernant un petit festival scandinave, qu'il était en train de préparer.
Il a voulu savoir si Aurore pourrait s'imaginer participer, en parlant sur le cinéma scandinave et Aurore a répondu qu'elle sera ravi.
Après ca, Gérard nous a invité à manger dans un restaurant très sympa dans le centre ville et au-dessous vous pouvez voir une photo de ce gentleman:

Last year, 2012, I - Gunnar 'met' a man by the name of Gérard Prugnaud thanks to Facebook.
We participated in the same groups talking about film and one day he told me he was preparing an exhibition about film or rather memorabilia, like posters, old film cameras, film magazines etc.
I asked him where this exhibition was held and he said "La Berthenoux and the médiathèque in that town" (you can find a post on our blog concerning this exhbition).
I told him that I lived only 12 km from La Berthenoux and then he told me he lived in a nearby 'département' called Creuse in the town of Guéret (54 km from us).
After having met each other and becoming friends IRL he visited my museum - Le Musée des Racines - and he told me that he worked on a volontary basis at a radio station called Radio Pays de Guéret, responsible for the radio transmissions about film.
He also now knew - through me and through having met Aurore - that the latter is a specialist in Scandinavian film.
He wondered if she would be interested in participating in a radio show and talk about this subject and Aurore accepted.
So this very day and at 8 pm we participated (I was also invited to talk a bit around Swedish film, my experience and interest in film and comparisons between Sweden and Norway e.g.) in this radio show, with Gérard as the main host and a young technician as his 'right hand'.
Gérard is a very nice and intelligent man having teached German to students at high school but also speaking English and even some Swedish, or at least understands it.
He is also extremely interested in film and knows a lot about the subject.
He had prepared some questions around a bit of everything and Aurore also talked about her book about the history of Norwegian Cinema (in French) she is now writing, preparing to publish it this fall or winter hopefully.
There are no comprehensive works on Norwegian film in France in french, whereby this fills a gap.

After one hour and many questions and answers we finished but during the broadcasting the director/manager for the cinemas in Guéret came to the studio and he wanted to talk with Aurore about a small scandinavian film festival he was preparing. He wondered if Aurore would be interested in participating, talking about scandinavian film and Aurore answered that she certainly would.
After this Gérard invited us to dine with him at a nice restaurant in the town and below you can see a photo of this gentleman:
