Le Château du Clos Lucé et Léonardo da Vinci. 200 ans !

Comme c'est l'année de la Renaissance dans le Val de Loire, avec la naissance de Catherine de Médicis, la première pierre posée à ce qui est devenu Le Château de Chambord et le décès de Leonardo da Vinci, tout ça il y a 500 ans, il fallait bien sûr visiter ce château.

Autrefois on appelait Le Château du Clos Lucé, "le manoir du Cloux", et le château est situé pas loin du centre ville d'Amboise. 

Ce château est conçu en 1471 comme un ancien fief relevant du château d'Amboise, finalement acheté par Charles VIII et devenu une résidence d’été des rois de France. Il gardera cette fonction jusqu'en 1516 où François Ier le met à la disposition de Léonardo da Vinci, qui y vivra trois ans, jusqu'à sa mort le 2 mai 1519.

Le Château est aujourd'hui un lieu qui a pour vocation de permettre au plus large public de découvrir l'univers de Leonardo da Vinci.

English : As it is the year of the Renaissance in what we call le Val de Loire or the Loire Valley, with the birth of Cateherine de Médicis, the first stone placed for what should become Château de Chambord and the death of Leonardo da Vinci, all this happening 500 years ago, we of course had to visit this castle.

Once Le Château du Clos Lucé (The Clos Lucé Castle) was called "le manoir du Cloux" and it is situated not far from the centre of Amboise town.

The castle was built in 1471 as an old fief or investiture dependant on the Amboise castle, finally bought by Charles VIII of France, becoming a summer residence to the French kings. It kept this function until 1216 when Francis I of France let Leonardo da Vinci dispose of it, for three years before his death, the 2nd of Mai 1519.

This castle is today a centre having as its ambition letting as many people as possible discover the universe of Leonardo da Vinci.

en symbiose avec la nature, les arbres.
