L'exposition Maurice Sand une science de la chimère, montre les différents projets entrepris par Maurice Sand, le fils de George Sand, souvent décrit comme ça : "Le fils de...".

Il n'a pas toujours mené ces projets jusqu'au bout. Il était plutôt un touche-à-tout.

L'exposition montre des tableaux qu'il a peint lui-même, le travail avec les marionnettes (les marionnettes sont exposé à Nohant, la maison de George Sand) et son travail comme entomologiste, mais comme amateur bien sûr.

The exhibition Maurice Sand, une science de la chimère, displays the different projects undertaken by Maurice Sand, the son of George Sand, often described as such: "The son of..."

He didn't always finish his projects. He was more of a Jack of all trades.

The exhibition shows the paintings he made himself, the work with the marionettes (the marionettes are exhibited at Nohant, the Mansion of George Sand) and his work as an entomologist, but as an amateur of course.

Pour l'instant il y seulement des ballots de paille

pendant Le Son Continu (le festival des luthiers)

Exposition à Montgivray, à l'ancienne...Exhibition in Montgivray from the old days...

Une exposition qui retrace une partie de l'histoire de Montgivray où ma belle-mère a grandie et où ces parents avec un café dans les années -60.

Ci-dessous, une photo dans laquelle on peut trouver ma belle-mère et sa sœur ! :O Il y avait également une photo du père de ma belle-mère, une photo qu'elle a comme tableau à la maison.

Entre parenthésé on peut mentionner que Montgivray souvent tient le record de températures pendant les canicules en France ! Étonnant mais vrai...

This is an exhibition retracing a part of the history of this commun called Montgivray, where my mother-in-law grew up and where her parents held a café in the 1960's.

Below a photo in which we find my mother-in-law and her sister! :O We also found a photo of her father, a photo she has as a painting at home.

Within brackets one can mention that Montgivray often hold the record in temperature during the heat waves in France! Strange but true...

Aujourd'hui nous avons visité Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre et une exposition photographique avec les amis Annie et Dany Martinat. 

J'ai exposé leurs photos au Musée des Racines en 2013.

Today we visited Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre and an photo exhibition with our friends Annie and Dany Martinat. 

I've exhibited their photos at Musée des Racines in 2013.

Aujourd'hui nous avons retourné au Château d'Ars pour regarder l'exposition avec les œuvres du peintre suédois Allan Österlind.

En même temps nous avons vu les préparations pour le festival Le Son Continu, le plus grand festival folklorique en Europe en un des plus grands du monde.

Today we returned to the castle Ars in order to look at the exhibition with works by the Swedish painter Allan Österlind.

On the same time we saw the preparations for the festival Le Son Continu, the biggest folk music festival in Europe and one of the biggest in the world.

Exposition Musée L'Hospice Saint-Roch : "L'homme des deux rives", Zao-wou-ki collectionneur.

Encore une visite au Musée de l'Hospice Saint-Roch à Issoudun et cette fois pour l'exposition intitulée "L'Homme des deux rives".

Il s'agit d'une donation exceptionnelle de la part de l'artiste et collectionneur chinois Zao-wou-ki ou plutôt sa veuve, Mme Françoise Marquet-Zao.

Cette collection réunit 90 œuvres de 56 artistes différents, des artistes qu'il a connu ou rencontré et parmi eux on trouve des noms comme :
Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Max Ernst, Alberto Giacometti, Pierre Alechinsky,  Antonin Artaud,  Jean Dubuffet, Bernard Dufour, Hans Hartung, Henri Michaux, Joan Mitchell, Pierre Soulages et bien plus...

Zao est décédé en 2013 mais comme le musée a exposé ces œuvres en 2008 et sa femme et originaire du département, ils ont voulu donné cette collection, pas aux grands musées parisiens mais ce musée dans le cœur de la France.

Nous ne montrons pas des photos des œuvres exposé, avec une seule exception, un tableau de Zao lui-même, un peintre exceptionnel.

L'exposition se termine le 30 décembre 2016.

Yet another visit at the Museum l'Hospice Saint-Roch in the town of Issoudun and this time for the exhibition called "L'Homme des deux rives" ("The Man of two shores/waterfronts").

It's all about an exceptional donation from the Chinese artist and collector Zao-wou-ki or more precisely, his widow, Mrs Françoise Marquet-Zao.

This collection reunite 90 works by 56 diferent artists, artists he has known or met and among the names we find:
Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Max Ernst, Alberto Giacometti, Pierre Alechinsky,  Antonin Artaud,  Jean Dubuffet, Bernard Dufour, Hans Hartung, Henri Michaux, Joan Mitchell, Pierre Soulages and many more...

Zao died in 2013 but as the Museum exhibited his works in 2008 and his wife is born in this département, they both wanted to donate this collection, not to the big Museums of Paris but to this Museum in the heart of France.

We don't display photos of the works, with one exeption, a painting by Zao himself, a very gifted painter.

The exhibition ends the 30th of December 2016.
