Pour la première fois depuis 2001, Aurore revisite la ville de La Rochelle et le festival du film. Pour moi, Gunnar, c'est la première fois.
Il faisait beau tout le temps, quelques gouttes de pluie mais pas beaucoup.
Nous avons vu quelques personnes que nous connaissons mais en distance et nous avons rencontré notre ami Gérard Prugnaud, un grand cinéphile, qui vit à Guéret dans la Creuse.
Après les photos, j'ai noté les films que nous avons vu pendant les trois jours que nous étions là.
For the first time since 2001, Aurore visit the town of La Rochelle and the film festival there. For me, Gunnar, this was my first visit.
We had good weather all the time, some drops of rain but not much.
We saw some people we know but at a distance and met our friend Gérard Prugnaud, a grand film lover, who lives in the town of Guéret, in the département la Creuse.
After the photos I have listed the films we saw during the three days we were there.

Les tours du Vieux-Port de La Rochelle (ci-dessous et derrière nous ci-dessus).
Le Vieux-Port est le plus ancien port de La Rochelle et le cœur historique de cette ville de Charente-Maritime (Nouvelle-Aquitaine). La tour de la chaîne et la tour Saint-Nicolas gardent l'entrée de ce port médiéval.

The Chain Tower and the Saint-Nicolas Tower
gard the entrance of this Medieval harbour.
La tour de la Lanterne (xve siècle) est, avec la tour Saint-Nicolas et la tour de la Chaîne, l'une des trois tours du front de mer de La Rochelle, vestiges des fortifications médiévales qui protégeaient le port.
Elle est également connue sous les noms de tour du Garrot, tour des Prêtres et tour des Quatre Sergents.
Elle a été classée monument historique le 17 février 1879.
The Lantern Tower (XV Century) is, together with the Saint-Nicolas Tower and
the Chain Tower one of the three towers at the front of the sea in La Rochelle,
traces of Medieval fortifications that protected the harbour.
This tower is also known under the name of the Garrot Tower,
The Priest Tower and the Tower of the Four Seargeants.
It was named a Historical Monument the 17th of February 1879.
