Efter Svenska Filminstitutet blir det Kulturhuset och de fria filmvisningarna.
Idag: 'Popeye' av Robert Altman med Robin Williams och Shelley Duvall i huvudrollerna.
Kan inte sägas vara ett 'Altmanskt' mästerverk men det är väl överflödigt att poängtera.
Däremot är filmen förhållandevis underhållande och inte minst Shelley Duvall är underbar i rollen som Olivia/Olive.
Alltid svårt att filmatisera denna typ av seriefigurer som alla som läst dem har en specifik relation till.

After the Swedish Film Institute Aurore and I visit the Cultural Center (Kulturhuset) for one of the free film shows and today it's 'Popeye' by Robert Altman.
Not a masterpiece by Altman but we didn't expect that either.
Robin Williams in the rôle as Popeye and a magnificent Shelley Duvall in the rôle as Olive makes it somewhat entertaning though.
Always difficult to make a film about a 'person' known from comic books, a person we all have a certain relationship to. N'est-ce pas?
