2 Days in Paris - Deux jours à Paris

Nej tyvärr! Det är inte jag och Aurore som vistats två dagar i Paris!

Vi har sett filmen av och med Julie Delpy på biografen Sture.

Filmen som alltså är regisserad av Delpy handlar om ett par, hon fransyska - Marion (Julie Delpy) - han amerikan - Jack, spelad av Adam Goldberg. De bor i New York men har varit på semester i Venedig, en semester som inte riktigt utvecklade sig som de hade hoppats vad gäller deras relation.

P.g.a. denna misslyckade semester väljer de att stanna i Paris för att där kanske komma i annan stämning och uppleva den helande inverkan som 'kärlekens stad' kan ha på älskande?!

Här blir det dock återkommande kulturkrockar och den neurotiske Jack känner sig minst sagt obekväm med Marions föräldrar. De förstår inte varandras skämt och när exempelvis fadern kommer med en halvflådd hare i näven, då vänder sig magen ut och in på Jack.

Dessutom träffar de ideligen Marions gamla pojkvänner och exförhållanden vilket gör Jack - ibland med rätta - misstänksam vad gäller hennes ärlighet rörande deras relation.

Jack själv är besatt av att fotografera allting - även om det är Marion som är professionell fotograf - och detta gör Marion minst sagt enerverad.

En förhållandevis bra komedi med förvecklingar varav inte allt är förutsägbart.

Adam Goldberg tycks vara en hängiven Woody Allen-fan då hans neurotiska spelstil i mångt och mycket är fotad på Allens.

Fr.a. är det stämningsfullt att få se Paris igen!

Alas! It's not me and Aurore having spent two days in Paris again!

We have seen the movie by and with Julie Delpy at cinema Sture.

This film is thus directed by Julie Delpy and it's a story of a couple, she French - Marion (Julie Delpy) - and he - Jack (Adam Goldberg) - American.

They live in New York but have been on vacation to Venice in Italy, a vacation that did not develop in the way they had planned, concerning their relationship.

Because of this 'vacation failure' they choose to stay in Paris in order to get in to another mood caused by the healing effect 'the City of Love' should have on couples in love?

In Paris Jack is though exposed to continuous culture chocks and the as the neurotic he is he feels uncomfortable in the company of Marions parents. They don't understand the jokes of one another and when the father approaches Jack with a half skinned hare in his hands, Jacks stomach is turned inside out.

In addition to this they again and again meet Marions old boyfriends and ex-relations, this making Jack suspicious - and so rightly - towards her and her honesty towards him and their relationship.

Jack himself is obsessed with taking photographs of everything - even though it's Marion who is a professional photographer - and this gets on Marions nerves, tho say the least.

A comparatively good comedy with complications that are not too predictable.

Adam Goldberg seems to be a dedicated Woody Allen-fan as his neurotic acting very much reminds of that of Allen.

Above all it's very moving to see Paris again!
