Aurore arbetar mellan klockan 10.00-18.00 idag och det gör att hon får åka direkt till Dramaten där vi skall se August Strindbergs 'Ett drömspel' i regi av Mats Ek.
Att Ek regisserat märktes väl. Det var en mycket fysisk teater i bemärkelsen rörelse, dans och nästintill akrobatik i vissa delar.

Rebecka Hemse som Indras dotter kändes inte riktigt övertygande tyckte jag.
Många unga svenska skådespelare är lite för mycket 'barnsliga' (om man kan uttrycka sig så) i sitt spel och även om hon skulle vara guden Indras barn så kändes hennes rollgestaltning något omogen. Kanske skulle någon säga att det är precis så denna roll skall gestaltas och det är möjligt...

Johan Holmberg spelar advokaten som lever tillsammans med Indras dotter under perioder medan kaos och ordning i deras tillvaro växlar.
Hans rollgestaltning är imponerande ur många aspekter.
Dels är rollen i sig krävande då det växlar mellan djup melankoli eller sorg och hämningslös vrede dels har Ek vävt in så mycket rörelse, dans akrobatik att man nästan fås att tro att Johan Holmberg genomgått en kvalificerad akrobatskola!

Man använder sig rent scenografiskt av teatermiljön i sig där man på ridån projicerat fasaden till själva Dramatens entré.
Till detta kommer bilder från andra teatermiljöer i Stockholm.
Här vävs också in aktuella politisk-ideologiska-religiösa temata.
Konflikterna mellan olika trosutövare och deras oförmåga att försonas med varandra och livet förevisas bl.a.

Överlag skulle jag kunna nämna många skådespelarinsatser av synnerligen hög kvalitet men vill endast konkludera med att säga att denna 'multimediala' uppsättning var synnerligen sevärd och jag kan varmt rekommendera den till er alla!

Aurore works between 10 AM and 6 PM today and that forces her to go directly to the Royal Dramatic Theatre where we are going to see 'A Dreamplay' by August Strindberg, directed by Mats Ek (Mats Ek photo).
One can clearly see that Ek is the director behind this production.
The former dancer had created a very physical theatre in the sense that movements, dance and almost acrobatic parts was highly integrated in this play.

Rebecka Hemse (Rebecka Hemse photo) as the daughter of Indra was not particularly convincing I thought.
Many young actors and actresses are somewhat 'childish' (if one can express it that way) in their performance and even if she played the daughter of the god Indra her performance felt somewhat immature. Someone would perhaps say that this is exactly the way this role is supposed to be interpreted and that is possible.....?

Johan Holmbergs (the link in Swedish unfortunately) role character - the lawyer - is periodically living with Agnes in a situation where their life changes between chaos and order.
His performance is impressing from several points of view. The role is demanding in itself as it changes between deep melancholy or distress and uninhibited wrath.
Ek has also used a lot of movements, dance and acrobatics and one almost get the impression that Johan Holmberg has studied at a qualified school of acrobatics!

When it comes to the stage design one uses the theatre environment in itself and on the curtain one have projected the facade of the entrance to the Royal Dramatic Theatre.
To this is added pictures from other theatrical milieus in Stockholm.

In the play one also uses current political-ideological-religious themes. The conflicts between different religious believers today (and historically) and their inability to reconcile with each other and life is used as one theme.

I could mention many of the actors and their efforts of extremely high quality but would just like to conclude by saying that this 'multi media' performance were really worth seeing and I can fully recommend it to all of you (if you understand Swedish of course)!
