Igår var vi bjudna till Scalateatern för en kväll med Vysotskij, idag är vi bjudna till våra vänner Tiina och Antonio på lunch. Det är fantastiskt med dessa inbjudningar till teater, musik, lunch o.s.v.
Det kan gott fortsätta så.....!
Vi har inte träffat dem sedan slutet av maj i år.
Antonio är 'le chef de cuisine' och han har lagat till en god blandning av både vegetariskt och kyckling med bl.a. falafel, aubergineröra och mycket annat gott. Det var verkligen läckert.
Till detta drack vi franskt vin - självfallet(?).
Tiina och Antonio besökte Frankrike och Bourdeaux i somras och i resan ingick bl.a. utflykter till ett antal vinslott där de gavs möjlighet studera 'tillverkningensprocessen'.
Då nu Tiina studerar etiketten på det vin vi bjuds - som är köpt på en av Finlandsbåtarna - visar det sig att vinet emanerar från ett av de 'châteaux' som de besökte i somras. Detta hade de inte reflekterat över tidigare. Hon hämtar en broschyr med information som på framsidan har samma bild som på vinflaskans etikett.
Mätta och belåtna efter all mat blir det, som dessert, arabiskt kaffe med baklava och andra sötsaker.
Vi har mycket att tala med varandra om och de visar bilder från sitt bröllop (fyra år sedan) samt bilder från Frankrikeresan (Bourdeaux) och bl.a. Paris som de besökte helt kort under en dag.
En mycket trevlig dag där vi blir kvar hos dem under mer än sex timmar. Det är långa och trevliga luncher vi blir bjudna till. Längden på lunchen är à la Francaise.
Bland våra länkar på denna blogg finner ni under 'Najat' bilder som visar det konstverk av skilda slag som Antonios mor har kreerat. Hon verkar som konstnär och har så gjort under många år. Ta en titt! Det är det värt!

Yesterday we were invited to Scalateatern for a night with Vysotskij and today we are invited to our friends Tiina och Antonio for lunch. It' fantastic with these invitations to theatre, music, lunch and so on. It can very well continue so.....!
We haven't met them since the end of May this year.
Antonio is 'le chef de cuisine' and he has made a delicious mixture of both vegetarian plates and chicken with among other things falafel aubergine(egg plant)-mixture and a lot of other delicacies.
To this we drank French wine - of course(?).
Tiina and Antonio visited France and Bourdeaux this summer and in Bourdeaux they came to a number of Châteaux', tasting wine and watching 'the production process'.
When Tiina now studies the lable on the bottle of wine we are going to drink - bought on one of the ferries to Finland - it shows to be a wine from one of the chateaux' they visited in Bourdeaux. They hadn't thought of that earlier. She gets a brochure with some information and with the same picture as on the bottle, depicting the castle.
Satisfied and pleased after all the food we continued with the dessert consisting of Arabic coffee and baklava among other sweet pastries.
We have a lot to talk about and they show us pictures from their wedding (four years ago) and from France - Bourdeaux - and Paris that they visited for a short sojourn.
A very nice day and we stay for more than six hours. It's a long and nice lunch. It's the length of a lunch in France - à la Francaise.
